Summer Wars

Well I actually did very well into the Summer. Was still working out daily and losing fairly consistently but then I went out of town on two trips back to back and that really derailed me. lol Then when I finally got home to stay we had so much going on at the home front that I didn't get back to my regular work out. Long story short I haven't worked out for over a month now. (well, I have been in the pool once or twice, taken a walk, and worked out ONCE but nothing consistent) The first couple of weeks I continued to lose but here at the end of the "drought" things haven't gone as well. I gained back just over 3 lbs. The cool thing is that since I was still losing at a good clip at the beginning I'm still 6 lbs down from what I was at the beginning of the drought. lol But! I'm here to say that life is getting a little back to normal (if you wanna call it that) so I'm working on getting myself disciplined back into a regular workout. This week it's still a little crazy so I'm just going to fill in where I can (a walk here, a swim in the pool there) and then come Monday morning, regular workout, here I come. :-) Wanted to post on here so that I've got a little accountability going on. ;-) Thanks ya'll and see ya on the skinny side. :-)

Wow! I haven't posted in forever!!! Don't even know if people follow this, or at least anyone who isn't already following my progress via Facebook. lol But thought I'd post a progress report real quick. :-) Two weeks ago I hit the 30 lb mark and I'm feeling amazing!!!! Working towards 40 now! :-) In 3 lbs I will be under a number that I haven't been under since I was a young teenager! So exciting to hit these goals!!!! Giving all the glory to God as I could NOT have done this without Him!!! Thanks for the support, ya'll! :-)

It just feels so much better to work out regularly & not eat constantly! Need to remember this when I'm tempted to fall off the wagon. Hit my first 10 lb mark!

Another good week! Wasn't sure how well I did until I weighed myself. 3.4 loss! :-) Stayed in my calorie count pretty well & worked out every day but Sunday.

Finally! :-D

So after some serious disappointments and finally deciding I needed to buckle down and get serious (for real this time...) I decided to utilize MyFitnessPal for one week. Diligently tracking calories, both intake and burn. Well it's paid off finally! Weigh in: 4.4 lbs lost! Oh yeah! My workout buddy asked me if I was going to keep tracking and I said I was going to track myself skinny! :-P Here I come, week two!
