Figuring stuff out

Update for today. Walked 2 miles "with" Leslie then did my 30 minute workout (Shakeology). 


Been thinking about my weigh in on Monday. The 3 lb gain. Yeah. That one. In considering all of the facts (my shirts are still looser, I'm beginning to see muscle definition in new places, and I'm more naturally a muscular person) I've decided that that gain is possibly some muscle gain. I'm not going to lean on this, still trying to work harder at the working out and the calorie consumption etc, but it made me feel a little better. I don't know if this makes sense or not...but it's a conclusion I've come to in my fitness journey so I'm sharing it with ya'll. :-) And if it's true then I need to accept it anyway for the future. Need to remember to not only rely on the numbers on the scale.

Poppin' in

Hey! Just popping in for a "real" post. :-) Since my last post I've worked out every day even if it was just one mile. Though other times I've done a painful, new 30 minute workout that makes me hurt. lol And I did two miles once or twice. I have also done a lot better at my portion control, partially thanks to a cold that I have that has virtually taken away any appetite. :-) "I'm one stomach flu away from my goal weight." A cold in this case and ... a few colds and stomach flus away. lol But it was funny. :-) Oh right, all of that to say that I was naughty and weighed myself today mid-week ... and I'm down 3 whole pounds! :-D Looking forward to weigh-in day and seeing what my complete weight loss is for the week! Well, there's your "real" update for awhile. :-) Thanks for the encouragement all!

Confession time. I pigged out at supper tonight. Definitely over ate. :-( Won't let it trip me up though! It wasn't even worth it! Duh!
Weigh in: lost one pound this week. Not much but I'll take it. Shout out to my workout buddy who lost 4.4 lbs! :-) Oh! And did 3 miles this morning. :-)

First work out of the year: one mile, haven't been feeling good... :-S First weigh in of the year: down .8 lbs! That's the way to start a year! :-)
